My good friend Debbie Clarkson and I are off to the USA departing on the 1st May 2009 to attend the Weimaraner Club of America 2009 National, being held at "Olympia" in Washington State. This will be the fourth American National that we have attended. We plan on spending a couple days in San Francisco, then on to Seattle and after the National up to Vancouver for four days before heading home!

As 2008 draws to a close, below are some of the highlights for Team Amarige
Aust. Grand Ch. Amarige Worknclass Man "Barnsey"
- "Barnsey" finishes 2008 as No. 1 Weimaraner in NSW as per 2008 Dogzonline Pointscore.
- Gains his Grand Champion on 27th January 2008 at Dogs NSW Fundraising Committee Show
- Wins Best Exhibit in Show All Breeds at Dapto A & H Society Inc. under Mrs. S. Patterson (NSW)
- Wins Best Exhibit in Show at Northern Gundog Society of NSW under Mrs. L. Collins (Qld)
- Is awared multiple Best in Gundog Group/Runner-up Best in Group Awards throughout 2008.
We are also very proud of Barnsey's son Treugrau Just a Gigalo "Jay" (owned & bred by Lyn & Geoff Martin) who attained his Championship Title 21/12/08 at thirteen months of age.
Jay has had a wonderful year, was awarded Puppy in Show at the Weimaraner Club of Victoria PM Specialty Show Sept. 2008 and again Puppy in Show at the Weimaraner Club of NSW Specialty Show 2008. Well done "Jay" you have an exciting future ahead of you.
Aust. Ch. Amarige Walk The Line "Cash"
- "Cash" wins Best Exhibit in Show at the Weimaraner Club of Victoria PM Specialty Show at the tender age of 15 months.
- Finishes 2008 as No. 3 Male Weimaraner in NSW as per 2008 Dogzonline Poinscore.
- Gains his Australian Champion Title at 14 months of age August 2008.
- 1st place Junior Dog Class at Melbourne Royal 2008
- 1st place Puppy Dog Class at Sydney Royal 2008

Cash sired his first litter in June 2008 to the lovely "Holly" Greywei Shooting Star, two from this litter are being campaigned by Debbie Clarkson, Greywei Johnny Cash "Johnny" and Greywei Cool Cash "Rani". Johnny took out Baby Puppy in Group at his second show. We will look forward to following the careers of these two lovely young puppies.
Amarige Dorians Flame AI "Rennie"
February 2008 saw the arrival of our long awaited AI puppy from Am Ch. Tophats Dorian Gray and Ch. Amarige Flame Tree.
- Rennie is awarded Minor Puppy in Show at the Weimaraner Club of Victoria pm Specialty Show.
- Is a multiple class in group winner.
We are looking forward to campaigning Rennie during 2009.
