Klute was purchased from Maria & Don Burrows in 1980. I had always admired Maria’s Weimaraners, ie. Quailmaster Cloudy, Nuage Ombre, Nuage Ciel and when she mated Nuage Ombre to Saxonlodge Silver Sentinal Imp. UK, I approached her for a male and she agreed to let me have one.

Klute obtained his Championship title with ease, finishing his title with a Runner-up in Group in 1982, believe me it wasn’t easy in those days for Weis to get a class in group, the judges never seemed to look down the end of the line then.

Klute was a wonderful companion and we used to enjoy daily walks along Cronulla beach and through the sandhills right up until he peacefully died in his sleep one night aged 11 years old.
