“Champ” 

Sire: Aust Ch. Rambai Silver Spinx x Dam : Kastanie Uta.

Champ was my second Weimaraner whom I purchased in 1973 . I decided a wanted a mate for Jake and one day whilst reading the local “Leader” newspaper I saw a litter of Weimaraners advertised at Blakehurst. When I phoned to ask who the sire and dam were, the young girl who had bred her first litter of Weis said the sire was Rambai Silver Spinx (same sire as Jake) and Kastanie Uta. I headed over to Blakehurst to look at the litter and returned home that evening with “Champ”.

Champ was an absolute character and a real clown, he and Jake were great mates. Champ gained his championship title and also his CD, he didn’t excel as much as Jake did in the obedience ring and would always manage to do something embarrassing to me. One night whilst we were doing the figure of eight off lead, he cocked his leg on the steward, I was still marching ahead throught he figure of either thinking he was with me. Very embarrassing.
